ITINENARY
Day 01-Kovalam
You are greeted on arrival at Trivandrum International Airport by the Heavenlyholidays representative and thereafter proceed to Kovalam beach which is known as the “Paradise of the South”. This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore on your own to see how the everlasting sea touches the everlasting sky. Kovalam is the place where one can see the golden sand at the day time & silver sand in the night. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters.. Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort (Kovalam)
Day 02-Trivandrum-Kanyakumari(95 kms-2½ hrs)
After the breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Kanyakumari an important pilgrim centre of India. Enroute visit padmanabhapuram palace, arrive kanyakumari and afternoon visit Vivekanada rock memorial, Statue of Thiruvalloor etc. By evening proceed for Trivandrum site seeing.Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, “the city of Ananthan”, the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan’s Puram (City). Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Day 03-Luxury Houseboat
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. On arrival check into your Traditional Kerala Style Houseboat and cruise throuth the backwaters. It is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Stay overnight in the Houseboat (A/C).
Day 04-Thekkady
Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Check into hotel. After lunch visit Periyar Tiger reserve and spice plantations. On way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and buy some fragrant spices.Overnigt stay at Hotel/Resort
Day 05-Munnar
Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival check in to the Hotel and Evening stroll through the tea estates. Stay Overnight at Hotel/Resort
Day 06-Munnar
Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you may see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Tea Museum, Mattupetty, Eco-Point etc. you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). . Stay Overnight at Hotel/Resort
Day 07-Cochin (Departure)
After the breakfast pack your baggages with a promise to return once again to this paradise…. Proceed on time to board your flight with sweet memories of your holidays.
